One tool for my own community, alone from scratch to production
Community App, Valsesia, Italy
In my local community in Valsesia, Italy, iPhone and Android users were coordinating shared airport rides through two separate apps that couldn’t see each other. Someone on iPhone couldn’t see a ride offer from an Android user, and the other way around. The result: duplicated coordination, fewer shared rides, and less use of the tool altogether.
I designed and built a cross-platform PWA alone, from a blank page: spec, build, launch, and ongoing maintenance, no team. The solution works identically on iPhone and Android, so the whole community sees the same ride offers in the same place, no need for two separate apps.
One shared tool instead of two, for the whole community. Two independent security reviews found zero vulnerabilities. The tool keeps running and serving my community today.
