How I turned scattered leads into a 30% faster sales cycle
Previous role, before founding the business
English with Gabi is an international EdTech platform that was growing fast, but its sales process wasn’t growing with it. Leads arrived from every direction, WhatsApp, email, a form on the site, and landed in three different places that didn’t talk to each other. Nobody could say with confidence how many leads were quietly lost along the way, because there was no single place showing the whole picture. Follow-up depended on whoever happened to remember, not on a process.
I built Zoho CRM from scratch: automatic lead capture from every channel, defined pipeline stages, and follow-up automation that reminds the team who’s still waiting on a reply. Alongside it, I built a custom lead-routing tool that sends every new inquiry to the right salesperson based on where it came from, no manual decision required. I also built a live Power BI dashboard tracking student progress, used by leadership in renewal conversations with institutional clients. In parallel, I led the new LMS platform rollout end to end: vendor selection, contract negotiation, and technical delivery to the team.
The sales cycle got 30% shorter through systematic follow-up that didn’t depend on anyone’s memory. Zero leads lost. 25+ automated workflows ran without anyone having to touch them. Institutional renewals rested on real data instead of guesswork, and the new learning platform went into production.
